What Rilo is, and is not
Rilo is a personal logging and reminder tool for intermittent fasting. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, or measure your metabolic state. The timer measures elapsed time from the meals you record, not health benefits. Targets are personal logging preferences, not promises of any result.
Health and safety
Fasting does not suit everyone. Talk to a doctor before you start if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of eating disorders, take medication affected by when you eat, or live with diabetes or another health condition.
Stop fasting and seek appropriate help if you feel unwell, for example dizzy, weak, confused or with a racing heart. Do not rely on the App for medical decisions. The in-app Fasting & Safety page and Fasting highlights are general information, not medical advice.
No account, your records
The App does not require an account. You control your records and backups and are responsible for keeping backup files safe. Uninstalling the App or resetting your data removes your log from the device, and we cannot recover it for you unless you have your own backup.
Reminders and notifications
Reminders depend on device permissions and operating-system restrictions, including battery savers and notification settings, and may be delayed or not delivered. Do not rely on the App for urgent, safety-critical or medical reminders, such as medication.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes or in violation of these Terms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except where law allows.
- Copy, resell or redistribute the App or its artwork and content.
- Interfere with the App's purchase, ad or security mechanisms.
Rilo Pro, purchases and ads
The core App is free and shows ads. Rilo Pro is an optional paid upgrade that removes ads and adds medium and large home screen widgets. It is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, with prices shown in the store before you buy.
Payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play, and Pro is linked to your store account, not to a Rilo account. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your store account settings. You can restore Pro from Settings on any device signed in to the same store account. License
Subject to these Terms, Soewidiputra grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on your devices for personal, non-commercial use.
Intellectual property
The App, including its design, illustrations, text and code, is owned by Soewidiputra or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you no rights to our name, logo or other brand features.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that reminders will always arrive on time, or that it will meet your particular goals.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soewidiputra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data or health outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer protection law that applies to you.
Changes and termination
We may update the App and these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and tell you in the App or store listing about material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, and we may suspend access if you breach these Terms.
